Terms of Service
OwnYourMoney is a U.S.-based seller of downloadable personal-finance spreadsheet templates offered to customers worldwide. These Terms of Service apply to the OwnYourMoney website and to your purchase, download, and use of our templates.
By ordering, downloading, or using a template, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not order, download, or use the template.
The product description, price, and items included with a template are shown before checkout. Each purchase is a one-time charge. There is no subscription or recurring charge for a template.
Payment is processed by Stripe. Stripe, rather than this site, handles your full payment-card details. We receive the information needed to record and support the purchase, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Templates are downloadable .xlsx files that you can open in Microsoft Excel or upload to Google Sheets. After successful checkout, a download link is provided in the post-checkout flow and sent by email. No account is required.
You are responsible for providing a usable email address and saving the downloaded copy. If the delivery link or email does not arrive, contact ownyourmoney@polsia.app so we can help.
When an offer says annual updates are included, updates to that template you own are included. A materially new template or product is separate unless a specific offer says otherwise.
Your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the template for your own household's financial management. You may:

We offer a 30-day full-refund guarantee on template purchases. Email ownyourmoney@polsia.app within 30 days of purchase to request a refund. We will process a full refund through Stripe within three business days.
This voluntary guarantee does not limit any refund, withdrawal or cancellation right, conformity remedy, or other consumer right that applicable law does not allow us to waive. If you have a question about a purchase or a specific legal right, contact us.
The templates are organizational tools, not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. We do not promise that a template is accurate, complete, suitable for your situation, or capable of producing any particular result. Make your own financial decisions and consult a qualified professional where appropriate.
As explained in our Privacy Policy, the site does not receive the income, expenses, account balances, or other numbers you enter into your downloaded file.
Use the website and templates lawfully and in a way that is not abusive or harmful. You may not use them for fraud or deception, automated scraping or data harvesting, bulk redistribution, bypassing access controls, or reverse-engineering formulas for redistribution.
OwnYourMoney retains all rights in the templates, including their formulas, structure, written content, graphics, and OwnYourMoney branding. Buying a template does not transfer copyright or any other intellectual-property ownership to you. You receive only the limited license expressly stated in these terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the website and templates are provided as available. They may contain errors, and access or delivery may sometimes be interrupted. We do not promise uninterrupted service, error-free files, or any particular financial outcome.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OwnYourMoney will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from a template or your use of it. For a template-related claim, our total direct liability is limited to the amount you paid for that template.
These limits do not apply to liabilities that applicable law does not allow us to limit or to consumer rights and remedies that cannot legally be waived.
Our Privacy Policy explains how purchase data, contact information, and optional marketing data are handled. Service providers such as Stripe, our email provider, and Meta may process that information as described there. If you are outside the United States, your information may be transferred to or stored in the United States.
See the Privacy Policy for available choices and rights; it contains the privacy details that apply to your information.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If a dispute arises, please first try to resolve it with us informally by emailing ownyourmoney@polsia.app.
If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, it is subject to binding arbitration in the State of Delaware, with each party bearing their own legal costs. To the extent applicable law allows, you and OwnYourMoney agree to bring disputes only in your individual capacities and waive participation in a class action. These arbitration and class-action terms are subject to applicable law and do not waive non-waivable consumer rights.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post changes on this page and add a new last-updated date. Changes apply prospectively as required by law. If you have questions about these terms, email ownyourmoney@polsia.app.
